When you check a website
Only the public website origin is sent to our inspection server when you choose Check website. An inner page address is reduced to the domain. The server requests a limited number of public pages from that website and its www counterpart; the destination sees our server’s request. Do not submit a private site, account link or address containing private information.
The application does not keep a database of submitted domains or reports, use an external scanning service, sell your scan data or add analytics. To limit abuse, it temporarily keeps a request count using an IP hash salted for a ten-minute window, plus concurrency locks. These counters are separate from scan content and are eligible for deletion after twenty minutes; cleanup occurs on subsequent requests.
Local messages, reports and notes
Pasted rejection wording, imported report files and your review notes are processed in this browser. They are not sent to the inspection server or to Google by the tool. A report stays in memory until you leave or reload; Download report creates a file on your device only when you choose it. Clipboard actions are explicit. Keep private account information out of messages and exported notes.
Hosting and ordinary requests
Our hosting provider, Hostinger, receives ordinary connection information to serve the website and inspection endpoint. Hosting access and security logs may include your IP address, request path, time and browser information under the provider’s settings and policies. The application’s no-history design does not mean that ordinary hosting logs do not exist. See Hostinger’s privacy policy.
Google advertising on the public tool page
The public tool page can load Google’s AdSense connection and consent code. Google and other advertising vendors may use cookies or identifiers to serve, measure and personalize ads, including using previous visits to this or other websites. Serving is kept disabled in this release until account and consent setup are ready. The isolated checker and these static privacy and guide pages contain no advertising script.
When Google’s consent interface is available on the tool page, its Privacy choices control lets you revisit choices. Google’s advertising practices are described at How Google uses information from partner sites. You can manage personalization through Google Ads Settings and relevant vendor controls such as Digital Advertising Alliance choices.
